08.38 BST: Liverpool player Xherdan Shaqiri is close to joining Lyon, with the French club announcing an agreement in principle to sign him.
Shaqiri, 29, joined Liverpool in 2018 for £13 million from Stoke City, but he has never managed to get into Jurgen Klopp’s first squad.
