On October 12, William Shatner will go on a historic trip to space with Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin Crew.
Yes, on Tuesday, the Star Trek actor will bravely travel where few others have gone before, and all eyes will be on the trip.
The revelation comes as no surprise to those who have followed Shatner’s career since he has always shown an interest in space.

Over 60 years have passed since the 90-year-old began his career as an actor, director, producer, writer, recording artist, and horseman.

In the Star Trek series, he is most recognized for inventing the character of Captain Kirk.
In 1966, Shatner made his debut appearance as the character in the famous television series.
Shatner reprised his role as Captain Kirk in seven Star Trek films, one of which he directed, after the series became a feature film franchise.
The Boston Legal actor was last seen in the 1994 film Generations as Captain Kirk, in which he was murdered while attempting to intercept a lethal missile.
In addition to Miss Congeniality, The Butler’s Night Off, Loaded Weapon 1, and American Psycho 2, the actor featured in the popular US comedy The Big Bang Theory and films such as Miss Congeniality, The Butler’s Night Off, Loaded Weapon 1, and American Psycho 2.
Most recently, the Hollywood legend served as host and executive producer of The History Channel’s The UnXplained.

Liftoff is scheduled at 8.30 a.m. local time in West Texas, where Blue Origin’s launchpad is located, if all weather conditions are fulfilled. This corresponds to 3.30 p.m. in the United Kingdom.
Audrey Powers, Blue Origin’s Vice President of Mission & Trip Operations, and crewmates Chris Boshuizen and Glen de Vries will accompany Shatner on his flight.
A reusable New Shepard rocket will carry the duo into space.

The trip will provide several minutes of weightlessness for the Canadian actor, as well as a breathtaking view of our world.
Captain Kirk will become the oldest person to go into space when he reaches the age of 90.
The trip will be broadcast live on Blue Origin’s website, with coverage beginning 90 minutes before takeoff.
