The latest chapter of Survivor has brought the drama to an all new level, but there are so many questions left unanswered. With one player gone and two players remaining who knows what will happen next?

Devin Walker has revealed a secret alliance among the remaining players. This is a major twist in the game, and it will be interesting to see how this affects the game moving forward.

Spies, Lies, and Allies: The MTV Challenge

Emy Alupei took another dangerous move on last week’s episode of “The Challenge,” placing herself in elimination to swap teams and join CT Tamburello on Sapphire. CT told Emy that he’d love to have her join his squad, which he dubbed “Team Layup,” during the show. Emy was eventually victorious, beating Bettina Buchanan in the elimination round.

Emy gave additional meaning to her choice on the aftershow, which opened up the topic and revealed some intriguing behind-the-scenes dynamics that viewers didn’t witness in the broadcast. Emy started by stating that her team, Ruby, was losing a lot of challenges, which placed her on the chopping block as a rookie, so she believed going up against Bettina would be a good opportunity to move to a team that had a better chance of winning.

Devin Walker then added to the context by revealing a show alliance that wasn’t featured in the final cut of the programs. On “Spies, Lies, and Allies,” he also disclosed the Emerald cell’s plot, which cast two of their co-stars in a negative light.

Emy’s choice to face Bettina in elimination was described by Devin as “peak aquamarine.” “Aquamarine is an alliance that was created between the Sapphire and the Emerald cells,” he said when Devyn pressed him for further details. As a result, everyone aboard Ruby tried to get off the ship and onto Emerald or Sapphire.”

He said that those who had the chance to infiltrate, such as Kyle, didn’t want to enter Emerald since their buddies were on that squad, therefore Sapphire was the only alternative. “So it was actually, Kyle went over there because he knew it was a two-team teamup and CT was urging Emy to go over there,” Kyle said.

“Our whole goal the whole time was to keep Amanda [Garcia] and Big T [Fazakerley] on different cells that weren’t ours so that they always had an anchor,” Devin said of the Emerald team’s eventual objective beyond the alliance. We needed to make sure that Sapphire and Ruby had either Big T or Amanda, and we didn’t want them both on the same team, so we split the anchors out.”

Kyle explained why Nelson was upset after losing in the elimination round, but Devin revealed some behind-the-scenes details.

Kyle discussed his choice to choose Sapphire over Emerald in the same episode of “Aftermath,” which led to a major dispute between him and Nelson at the start of the show. “I simply couldn’t be on Ruby,” Kyle stated, explaining that Nelson was furious that he usurped his spot on Sapphire.

“I was thinking about heading over to Emerald, which I probably should have done,” he said, “but I just wanted to be near to CT and I just wanted him to carry me to victory on his enormous, powerful back.” After Kyle revealed why he selected Sapphire over Emerald, Devin Walker spilled the beans to Devyn, revealing that Nelson had constantly advised Devin to eliminate Kyle due to Kyle’s sabotage earlier in the season.
